For building regulations, the process is much the same, with CK Architectural producing detailed drawings and applications to gain the approvals you need. Once these approvals are in place we will create builder drawings to instruct your builder through the construction, while we oversee and manage the build. Our build co-ordination service can put you in contact with builders and tradespeople if needed, and will include site visits and people management to ensure that the build is being done correctly, within the appropriate timescale and budget.

Your permitted development rights may mean that planning permission is not needed to convert a garage, particularly if you are keeping within the garage’s original footprint. In this case, we can apply for a certificate of lawful development, which states that your works comply with permitted development guidelines.

Where planning approval is needed, we will produce planning drawings and submit these for approval for you. Any design changes required by the local authority will be made by us at no extra cost. The same process will then be taken to gain building control approval.

Moving on to the build, we will provide any builder drawings necessary and oversee the construction process from beginning to end.
